Our Office Hours are Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm.

We are located at 911 Wallace Court. This department processes building permits and provides plans review services. It enforces the Florida Building Code. We are presently under the 2010 Florida Building Code with 2009 Supplements, plumbing, fuel gas, mechanical, residential, existing buildings, 2010 Fire Prevention Code, and the 2008 National Electrical Code.

Requirements for permitting a new residential home

  • Application signed and notorized.
  • Power of Attorney letter
  • Copy of Contract or Proposal
  • Notice of Commencement
  • Submittal Fee: .0005% of value, minimum $5.00
  • Copy of State License
  • General Liability
  • Workers Comp
  • Septic Tank Permit (if applicable)
  • Arbor Permit (if applicable)
  • 3 sets of engineered drawings
  • 2 site plans
  • 2 sets of energy calculations
  • 2 sets of truss plans
  • 2 sets of window & door spec. sheets

  • Fire Sprinkler System Required for buildings Over 5,000 square feet Gross Floor Area
