Lake Mary Police Department
 
The City of Lake Mary is primarily a residential community located alongside the I-4 corridor providing easy access to Orlando and the attractions. The Lake Mary Police Department currently has a full-time staff of 38 sworn officers and 16 civilian personnel utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to accomplish the law enforcement mission. They are also committed to the highest level of public assistance as circumstances dictate. In addition to providing the citizens of Lake Mary traditional law enforcement, they also offer community programs such as Neighborhood Watch, the Seniors Intervention Group, Gang Resistance Education And Training (GREAT), Stranger Danger, the Lock Box Program, Narcotics Overdose Prevention Education (NOPE), residential and commercial security surveys and the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program for 5th graders just to name a few. The Lake Mary Police Department also provides other services such as crime prevention programs, taking fingerprints and car seat inspections for infants.
