Message from Police Chief Kevin Pratt II

As the Chief of Police for the Lake Mary Police Department, it is both an honor and a privilege to serve and support the citizens of Lake Mary. I am proud to work alongside our dedicated officers and staff to ensure a safe, secure, and thriving community. Through our continued efforts in public safety, community outreach, and service enhancements, we are committed to maintaining Lake Mary as a vibrant and welcoming place for all residents and visitors.

Our officers are steadfast in upholding the values of integrity, service, and community partnership. In an ever-evolving environment, we remain dedicated to transparency, innovation, and responding to the needs of those we serve. We understand that building trust and fostering collaboration with residents, local organizations, and stakeholders is essential to maintaining our high standards of safety and well-being. To further strengthen these connections, we actively engage with the community through events such as National Night Out, Dine with the Dogs, the Kid’s Bicycle Rodeo, Paws for a Cause, Operation Chill, Holiday Food and Toy Drives, Heroes and Helpers, and many more.

Looking ahead, I remain committed to continually enhancing our services and ensuring that our officers are equipped with the resources, training, and support necessary to serve with professionalism and integrity.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the men and women of the Lake Mary Police Department—both sworn officers and civilian staff—whose dedication and hard work make our community safer for all.
